Musician Lega has called on his fellow musicians to rally behind VRMG boss Edem in the quest to dominate the music scene in Ghana.
In an interview with Prince Benjamin on Class 91.3fm, the recording artiste also revealed that growing up as a school boy, he use to perform Edem’s songs.
He further stated; “Edem is an icon because he has placed Volta Music on the map, he has worked so hard and now it’s left for us to also work hard and follow his path because he can’t do it alone, he has carried the baton for so long and it’s high we rally behind him and push further, Legends like Obrafour and sarkodie have raised the bar and now the likes of Kwesi Arthur, King Promise & Kidi, Kuami are also dominating”
When asked how his trip from Ho to accra was, Lega mentioned that the road made his trip very uncomfortable.
“I must say we almost missed out on this interview due to the poor nature of our roads. The road from Ho to Adomi bridge is very bad and it was part of the reasons we got here late. We can only plead with authorities to help us fix the roads.” he stated.
Real name Godsway Tome, Lega started music professionally in 2014 and has churned out a number of tunes including Enemies, Na Manya, Love me tonight and Kaba Kaba.
He was the winner of the Male Vocalist of the year during the 2018 Volta Music Awards.
Lega’s latest song is titled “Konekt” and it was produced by Gabanki
