VGMA Unsung winner Kula has expressed reasons why he didn’t file for Volta Music Awards (VMA) 2020. He stated his reasons on Monday January 27 on Global Drive during VMA Moments.

According to the “One” hit maker, he and his team have spotted some flaws with the first edition and since have been observing the scheme to see if things will be done correctly.

My team and I had a discussion and honestly speaking, we are still observing the VMA to see if we should file or not. And we haven’t made that decision yet so we didn’t file

Kula who was part of the first edition said he couldn’t pick any award due to the fact that the scheme threaded on a 100% public voting.
The first edition was basically based on 100% vote, initially we the nominees were not told until the night.

Rapper Kula has however said until the scheme has a board and an academy, he and his team will not be able to join.

Few weeks to the announcement of entries, Eventic GH has announced a board for the 3rd edition for the scheme but Kula says he and his team will still want to observe how this very edition will go and if things improve, he will join.

Kula however has announced his support for the scheme regardless of his position.

I personally support the VMAs in terms of posting their stuff on my social media
